Day 1 : Dubrovnik
Visit the old town center including the Pile Gate, Big Onofrio´s fountain, Roland's column, Bell tower, Stradun promenade, Dominican monastery, Franciscan monastery and Rector's palace. Climb the city walls and experience Dubrovnik from a different perspective. Overnight in Dubrovnik 1#.
Day 2 : Bay of Kotor – Mount Lovćen – Bečići
Departing from Dubrovnik to Montenegro by bus: First stop is the town of Perast in the magnificent Bay of Kotor. Visit of the islet of the votive church of Our Lady of the Rocks and visit of the town of Kotor, the main city of the bay, surrounded by a 4,5 km (2.8 miles) long system of defensive walls. Lunch in Kotor. Following the lunch, visit of the cathedral of Saint Tryphon, the Maritime museum, churches of Saint Luke, Saint Nicholas and Saint Mary. Ride on the famous panoramic serpentine road followed by a road through the heart of Lovćen National Park to the spectacular Njegoš Mausoleum. Overnight in Bečići area 2#.
Day 3 : Bečići – Cetinje – Šipčanik wine Cellar – Lake Skadar cruise - Bar
Drive to the former capital of Montenegro, Cetinje. Visit of the residence of Petar II Petrović Njegoš, King Nikola’s Palace, and the Monastery of Cetinje. The next stop to visit is Ćemovsko polje and Plantaže vineyards with a unique facility, at Šipčanik, for food and wine pairing. The next stop is Skadar lake on the border between Montenegro and Albania. Upon arrival, in Virpazar, board the boat and explore the lake reserve. Drive to Bar. Overnight in Bar 3#.
Day 4 : Bar - Kolašin - Đurđićeva Tara - Crno Jezero - Žabljak
In Bar, board the train for an unforgettable scenic journey to Kolašin. A bus will wait to continue the journey towards Đurđićeva Tara bridge. En route, there will be a lunch break in the former hunting villa of Milovan Đilas, a famous Yugoslav dissident. The tour continues, afterwards, to Crno Jezero (the black lake). Day 5 : Žabljak - Durmitor - Sarajevo
Leaving Montenegro and entering Bosnia and Herzegovina. Scenic drive through Durmitor Nature Park and then along Drina river canyon passing by Piva lake to end the day in Bosnia & Herzegovina’s capital - Sarajevo. Overnight in Sarajevo 5#.
Day 6 : Sarajevo
Visit Sarajevo ‘s Orthodox church, Catholic church and a mosque. The sightseeing includes the Jewish quarter, old part- Baščarsija, war tunnel - tunnel of hope, Baščarsija, Sebilj, Morića han, Bey's Mosque and madrasa, Bezistan, Ferhadija street, cathedral, market place Markale, Eternal flame, The Orthodox church, Taslihan, Princip bridge, Atmejdan, Emperor - Fatih mosque, Inat kuća and City Hall. Day 7 : Sarajevo - Konjic - Jablanica - Mostar
Departing from Sarajevo in the morning, for a scenic ride to Mostar. Passing the mountainous region, drive along Trešanica river until town of Konjic and visit former Yugoslav president’s atomic war command. Lunch in Jablanica. Visit of the war museum and drive to Mostar. Visit of Mostar old town, including the Old bridge, the Old Bazaar (Kujundžiluk), the Koskin Mehmed Mosque & the Turkish house. Overnight in Mostar 7#.
Day 8 : Mostar - Počitelj – Ploče – Trpanj – Saint Hills Winery – Korčula Island
Short drive along Neretva river to Počitelj, an adorable oriental town. Continue to the port of Ploče to embark the ferry to the Peninsula of Pelješac, home to the best Croatian wine producers. Next stop is Saint Hills winery for wine and food pairing. In the afternoon, reaching Orebić, boarding the ferry for a 15 min ride to the neighboring island of Korčula. Day 9 : Korčula - Orebić - Prapratno - Ston - Dubrovnik (Pelješac wine route)
Visit of the old town of Korčula. Continuation to Orebić, via ferry, to Korta Katarina winery to enjoy wine degustation before reaching Prapratno for oysters, mussels and fish lunch. The tour passes through the famous Pelješac wine route. After lunch, brief visit of Ston and Mali Ston before driving to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival, free time to enjoy Dubrovnik by night or alternatively, season and weather permitting, an unforgettable dinner sunset cruise on the legendary carrack boat “Karaka”.
