One day experience

Sibenik & The Krka National Park

Sibenik

the oldest native Croatian city located in central Dalmatia where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. Unlike many other cities in Croatia, Šibenik is the only that was founded by Croats. Central church, St. James Cathedral, built without using any binding materials has been listed in UNESCO world heritage, which makes Šibenik another true gem of Adriatic that discovers historical treasure.

Main sights are four fortresses, St. Nicholas Fortress, St. Michael's Fortress, St. John Fortress, Barone Fortress, each of whom provides spectacular view on the city, sea and nearby islands. Apart from the fortresses, experience the historical town centre, learning about all important events of the city history,  and convince yourself in all the beauty of Kresimir's city- called by the Croatian King whose throne was placed right in this town.

After enjoying all secrets of Sibenik, it’s time to enjoy traditional Dalmatian gastronomy, driving to a secluded agritourism restaurant in Kalpic for a traditional lunch.

The tour continues towards Krka national park and its famous 7 waterfalls (Skradinski buk, Roški slap, Miljacka slap, Rosnjak, Manojlovac slap, Brljan, Bilušića buk) with a total fall of 242 meters. You will be simply astonished by the beauty of river Krka and its waterfalls, well known throughout the world. You will see the large number of different habitat types, the diverse and picturesque plant life and very rich and unique, rare and threatened fauna.

When you see all the magic of this place you will agree that it is the one of the most valuable natural entities in both Croatia and Europe.
